Mountain Trekking: The Trails of Lake Idro

Trekking around Lake Idro is one of my passions. The trails that wind around the lake, recommended by the CAI (Italian Alpine Club), offer unique experiences, with breathtaking views and routes for all levels.

Mountain Trail One of the trails I explore regularly

Here are some of the trails that the CAI suggests and that I’ve explored:

  • Flower Trail: A hiking route that winds through flowering meadows and forests, with 300 m of elevation gain and a duration of about 3 hours.
  • Ridge Path: For experienced hikers, this trail offers spectacular views of the lake with 400 m of elevation gain and a trek of about 4 hours.

Each hike is an adventure, an opportunity to discover the wild and unspoiled beauty that surrounds the lake.
